A massive mob of Antifa are marching in New York City right now. Carrying shields, wearing “pig” masks and signs against the police, claiming to oppose fascism and making a show of force and intimidation.
They did the same every night this week in various places, including Portland, where there was vandalism and attacks on government buildings.
While this particular march through the streets by an armed, masked, anti-government, anti-police force is ongoing, CNN has been non-stop all day explaining that the real threat people in their homes and businesses should be worried about is Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz.
This country is a bad, bad place.

Except that this is the pretext by which the government will give "antifa" what they have been "demanding" (what the government wants) for years.
It's manufacturing a crisis to justify policies the DNC and GOP have wanted for years.
Thats why the police stand down for it. The police on the front line may not know WHY they're being given the orders they are. The officers only know that it is "political bullshit" and do what they're told. Why? Because thats the literal god damn job.
They may have a vague idea that they're being thrown under the bus, but in what way, and by how much, they haven't a clue.
