According to numerous media reports Amazon is no longer going to allow Parler to run from its Web Hosting Servers, which means deplatforming the Parler Website effective midnight Sunday. It is a little surprising that Parler was using Amazon servers to host it’s platform considering the obvious ideological risks involved. However, given the Mercer financial backing behind Parler, and considering there is a background data-collection system, perhaps that surprise factor is slightly diminished. Dance within an ideological system and there is always a risk the music will stop.
