Why was the laptop scrubbed?

I would suggest because of sensitive national information but then again why would they be posing for a photo-op with sensitive information on the table?

I'd be interested to see the original photos because I'm not sure with the colour photos if the blur on the table is due to highlighting bad photoshopping or bad table finish.

Also, if it were a laptop, the screen would likely be facing away from the camera so the man in the background could see what's on there too.

Why would you have a laptop screen facing the camera unless you were presenting to the camera, in which case again why are you presenting sensitive information to an obvious photo-op?

Unless it might be the iconic Biden Jr laptop with some identifiable markings or something... but even then the object scrubbed isn't laptop shaped.

Maybe tablet with a book type cover open.

Look at the table divider line goingbacross the table from left to right. Itnstops just in front of Pompeos pen. It has been erased. And cloned in. Look close enough and you can see the outline.

Another interesting is the window does not have blinds but the reflection of the window on the desk has blinds. Maybe sending a cheeky message saying blind?

Blinds are half lowered. You can see they're bunched at the bottom on the reflection of the desk - hence they don't continue down the window.
