Those who follow MonkeyWerx know that Terceira is the location of a US military prison in the Azores Islands off of Spain. And MW says there has been much activity to/from the island in recent weeks.

This plane flew to Terciera on Thursday from British AF base in Brize Norton, UK.

Update: just noted another British AF plane left Bangor Maine, likely flying back to the UK.

Patriot, I highly suspect they are, noticed they went to Caribbean black sites and also in and out of Europe. and the other day a lot of crashawks were busy in Colorado. and Texas.

Have such planes flown to these places before? I am just wondering if we are paying too much attention to plane flights now that aren't that weird.

It's merely a data point. Monkeywerx is reporting an uptick in US planes to/from CIA black sites and offshore US prisons. This is the first I have seen recently from a foreign country via Terceira.

I was stationed there, it's not a prison, it's a refueling point.

I noticed 3B76SAE, a French military A330 223 over the Pacific headed toward Nev, but maybe 1000 or 2000 miles away at 3:30am EST. Longitude was aboth that of the eastern border of Alaska. Latitude was about that of thre tip of Baja California. Pos was 18.98,-140.987. Alt 40,000 Reg F-RARF which now squakes in Las Vegas.

I didn't zoom in on the starting pos, but it was due south of its location then, maybe by 500 miles.

Yes, that plane landed at McCarran. It was picked up on radar in the South Pacific. Not clear where it originated. There was an Air Force jet actively monitoring the coastline where that jet was flying in. It appears to have landed without incident.
