I don't trust timestamps on those. They could've had a placeholder story in place and edited.
While I think thats bad practice and could even be meant to keep people from looking at when something was actually reported, it doesn't mean that this story was actually written then.
I mean, it still could've, though. I wonder if many had their scripts in place just ready to publish, but just saying that there is also another potential explanation.
While this may be the case I still think it's useful to make them address it. It also has the effect of death by a thousand cuts if you can make them justify their practices over and over to the point of creating a lot of smoke.
They did roll out a unified condemnation in a hurry. It's off 8kun so I can't vouch for it's provenance.
