Only 4 aircraft showing on the radar at 8 AM EST:

https://globe.adsbexchange.com/

After the page loads (and you see all the commercial activity), hit the "U" button at the top of the screen to see only the active Military aircraft on the radar.........

I've NEVER seen anything like this.........

Update:

Monkeywerx posted this last night around 10 PM. There were 30 Blackhawk helicopters in the air all around the US

Friend in Portland near base there says a few aircraft a day are normal, ALL left now. Base is empty. Something going on.

Damn! We need to watch this......

I've never paid much attention to these military aircraft posts. Is this shit even real? It seems absolutely retarded to have any military movements so easily available online at any time ever.

[–] 5 pts

Yep it's real. But they can turn off the transponders at any time and go off radar (like those 9/11 hijackers did).

Follow MonkeyWerx to learn more. He's now doing a few shows a week on Youtube.

Not that I support OP, but military aircraft are not required to squawk. For safety reasons they normally comply or mostly comply with FAA regulations. But they are in fact exempt.

That said, for budgetary and holiday reasons all military activity tends to slow come end of year and pick back up the second week of the new year.

Edit: not sure this means anything.

Govt budget year ends Sept 30th of each year.......the new budget year starts Oct 1st.

Now that I have more time, please carry the fulll context forward.

My information comes from people who actually fly and maintain aircraft in the US military. Maybe not a universal truth but it appears to be.

Toward the end of ther year there is always budgetary tightening. There is what is requested and what is actually funded. Most immediate disbursements are to contractors (because they now do most of the maintenance). Regardless, it takes time for every group to confirm their funding. If less, more time to adjust.

This pushes into holiday periods. Most traffic is training. Also, more paperwork and maintenance creeps in, slowing traffic. The result is military traffic falls off through November and begins to upswing the first week of January. Because of vacation, it's usually not back to normal until the second week or so of January.

Human factors are a big part of this. As you know, funding bullshit has taken place several times late last year. Both factors have significant impact.

I keep it on 24/7 for the last few days. Yesterday 147 military planes at the same time as today. Now just about 50 and most are near San Antonio Texas and Mobile Alabama. It takes a little time to load AND at the top right of the map PUSH the U >>the U shows only military. Hover aver any plane with your mouse pointer and it will tell you what type plane and give the spec's....

There’s nothing over DC and all the west coast is dark.

It's Friday. Perhaps we are going to redefine what "Black Friday" means in the US. Something is definitely happening.

I know I know...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/January_8 - on this day in history

but (they) can't change ALL of history...

I had the same thought....only more narrow (Revolutionary War).

YOU Found it!

Today is the day in history that the Democratic Party was created. Could it now be the day the Democratic Party ends??

Also the one year anniversary of that Iranian plane that went down. They did levy a credible threat on the capitol building just the other day.....

You've heard of "End times" right?

We are there.

Currently, the majority of the planes over TX, LA & panhandle FL are trainers, mostly T6s. Nothing in the western half.

[–] 1 pt

Yep. Crazy. I hope Monkey Werx. Goes live soon.

Well there is now 188 Mil aircraft flying at the moment!

Yes, getting back in the air

There's a VC32a registry number 98-0002 flying north out of Andrews AFB. It's falsly reporting a type code 752 (757-200).

VC32a is plane rated to act as airforce 2. https://www.airfleets.net/ficheapp/plane-b757-29026.htm

It's flying 230 knots at 4500 feet. That's not a happy place to fly a big aircraft like that.

VC32a approached Walnut Grove Airport, then diverted away. Was defenitly inside restricted airspace. Is currently at 2200 feet. Pretty dangerous place to be flying. For reference, landing approaches for 737s start at 10000feet.

<1000 ft now, landing approach at Harrisburg international.

Did a touch and go.

So this aircraft has flown over the runway of 2 airports thus far, and is approaching a 3rd. It's damn sus if you ask me.
