Good grief… Could the purposeful timing of those intent on preserving corrupt intelligence and U.S. government institutions be any more transparent? As CTH noted weeks ago, the DNI report on foreign involvement in 2020 election interference could structurally have established the framework for election challenges on the basis of the guarantee clause of the constitution. However, in order for that to be effective it would be needed prior to the congressional certification of the electors.

Today, literally hours after congress votes to certify the election results, that very same DNI report is now delivered to congress.

Buried inside an article noting that politically motivated intelligence officers intentionally withheld information about China’s active involvement in the 2020 election, we find this sentence:

“The intelligence community’s classified assessment on foreign influence in the 2020 election … was also submitted to Congress on Thursday.” (link)

Translation: we delayed the report indicating foreign interference because analysts involved in the assessment didn't like Trump's policies and wanted him to lose.
