CCP is going to take over management of the Israeli port of Haifa in 2024, which has been planned since they thought HRC was on the rise.
When Israel was invented, back in 1947, by the UN committee responsible for drawing the map of Palestine, until Israel conquered enough neighboring land to have a seaport, the primary international political concern of Israel was that it was landlocked.
Would they trust US to manage their primary seaport? Of course not! The ONLY reason they trust CCP to do so is because they are essentially the same Entity, “master and man,” as Omar Sharif would say.
