I stood on the lawn with patriots who were protesting election fraud, trying to show Congress (just by our huge numbers) that we wanted them to vote for further investigation. We were peacefully singing patriotic songs and chanting "Stop the steal", "USA" and "4 more years". The majority of us did not even know about any break in until we saw it on social media... Some people saw the tear gas, though, but didn't know why. Later we learned that some were up close to the barricade, so they did see the break-in.

Antifa was there dressed as Trump supporters. I saw one with his walkie talkie. Not realizing, yet who he was, I asked him if he knew what was happening. He said some people in his group broke in. I said, how in the world could they get past security? (I doubted him.) So, he showed me a video his friend had just texted him of her inside the offices. I asked why she would break in, and then he and his friend walked away from me.

My friends were down at the food truck when it happened. They saw an antifa group hurry by them and overheard one of them say he got tear gas in his eyes. So, he had to have run down from the capitol just then.

Last night at the hotel we sat by a gentleman telling us he was up on the steps in front of the rest of the crowd behind the barrier during the beginning of the event. He told us that on the media's video the people wandering around inside the building were not the same people who were in the crowd where he stood. He did say the crowd behind him pushed into the open doors of the capitol also, but he discerned many of them were also antifa by their behavior.

To clarify: He said there were 2 groups who went in. The ones let in from a different entrance, and the ones who pushed through this open door past the barrier where he stood. The events were in different parts of the building. The broken window was also on the other side from where he stood.

He thinks antifa were in both groups, but some patriots did go in with the crowd where he was. Where he was, he could see the violent antifa (dressed like us at his location) harming officers, but the patriots pulled the antifi, fake patriots off and protected the officers. The other antifa group was in a different part of the building, and so was that the broken window.

So, the real patriots shouldn't have followed the fake patriots into the building. I believe in law and order.

Maybe they will get some of the leniency that the summer protesters received when they were also infiltrated by violent and lawless antifa and BLM. (We patriots discerned that it was paid rioters and not the peaceful protesters who were burning, looting, and assaulting innocent people and businesses. We even tracked down the funding to prove it.)

Thank you for posting. I was there too and totally agree with your description. We did not realize what was happening until quite late. This clearly looked like a preplanned operation.

I was so grateful to talk to someone who had been at the front lines. I liked hearing about how patriots pulled the violent fake patriots off of the officers.

200,000n of us peaceful protested. Trump gave a peaceful and rational speech. A handful of Antifa stormed the Capitol with some naive patriots following without thinking.

Me too! And as more and more comes out it was clear that there were naive patriots, but also Antifa and Special Ops that went into the Capitol. They have it all!
