Interesting. I counted about 30 Mil planes circling around the San Antonio area.

Yes. I saw similar activity yesterday. Much heavier than usual. Did you notice the fighter jets? They are the ones that look like lawn darts.

Yes, I noticed a couple appear to be flying in pairs, I would watch one of two nearly superimposed fighters slowly start to turn back towards San Antonio, and the other would follow suit with a slight delay. Was like watching women's Olympic synchronized swimming in that moment, perfectly choreographed ~160° turns.
