There was no violence to be seen on any of the live streams. Agitation, desperation, yes - but compared to, say, Ukrainian "maidan", Capitol protesters were absolutely peaceful today.
In comparison, panicking Capitol security, for what it seems, did draw blood - in an absolutely unnecessary and heinous act.
So whom does Trump want to restrain? The very people who did what he must have done long ago?
