Every single time I bring up a Gateway Pundit article, my computer screen blanks out for a few seconds and then comes back for a few seconds and then blanks out again for a little longer and then finally comes back. Same pattern every single time and only for GP articles (but not every one). Been happening for the last few days.
They have a shitload of ads, I think that is a big part of it. I get the whole page first pass, but with placeholders. Tweets aren't resolved, other stuff hasn't expanded. I have to wait a few seconds for the page to expand, populate and stabilize.
No, I think it's coming from my computer. Ever since Windows finally got past my attempts to block their updates, it's been acting weird. All internet activity slows down a lot of the time now and I have to continually reload the browser, no matter which one I use. Even Brave, which blocks ads. Microsoft programs continually crap out on me now but programs that don't depend on Microsoft packages work great as always. I've never had to reboot so often. Two/three times a day compared to never.
Well that sucks. Time to back it up and do a restore?
