Every force has as equal and opposite force genius.
Duh.
So what's exerting enough force to repel an object when it's pressed against something rather than thrown against it, Mr. Brainiac?
Press your finger against a wall and tell me if it bounces off or if it stays in contact.
Fucking dumbass. Go to school and quit smoking the crack.
When you throw something at the wall you apply far more force than if you touch it to the wall. This compresses the ball and as it returns to it's original shape it is propelled away from the wall. If you were to press the ball into the wall with equal force and then release the ball it would in fact get propelled off the wall. Just as if you squished a spring against the wall and released it. It is an EQUAL AND OPPOSITE FORCE to what you applied.
