Most of the police force in the West is just a tool. They are driven by desperation and greed like their masters.
They'll end up living in a doorway because there's no one to pay their wages. For their fear of getting laid off, they'll get laid up anyway.
There will always be a tyrannical government to pay enough salary to maintain an occupying force.
As long as people are forced to work to pay off the debt. The USSR ran out money. The USA has run out of money, and is till accruing debt. I wish Americans could see how socialist they've been for so long.
Those survivalists stocking up on food and ammo away from everyone aren't extreme at all. The Russian people had to find ways to survive and come up with their own food. Westerners are believers in grocery store magic.
This is the key point. There are cops that are good people and cops that are bad people, but overall, cops do what they're told for a paycheck.
Whoever controls the purse strings controls the identity of the police force. In most red and rural areas, the leadership is at least semi-reasonable, so cops are semi-reasonable.
In cities, and blue areas, cops will simply enforce whatever their Commie mayor wants. If that means arresting peaceful patriotic protestors, they will do as they're told (for a paycheck). If they're told to bend the knee to BLM criminals that would stab their kid in the back for a nickel, they will do that as well.
