She took her oath of office Sunday, she is already a senator.

Does that change if results are called today? I am not sure myself on those details. That was my point. Results likely not be certified today anyway.

IDK. The results in contention will be the Presidential race, not Senatorial. If a states election is tossed, does that pull down ballot winners status as well? A complex and confusing mess you are unearthing here!
