The election was two months ago. Seems like her replacement could have been appointed and sworn in instead. Because her and Joe didn’t win and they know it.

Why does this continue to be a question? They are under no pressure to resign until Inauguration. Plenty of incoming POTUSes and VPOTUSes wait. Biden did in on Jan 15 when he became Obama's VP. Al Gore did it on Jan 2. Dan Quayle did it on Jan 3. Walter Mondale did it on Dec 30. JFK, LBJ, Hubert Humphrey, I could go on. Look at the list, this is a complete non-thing:

Yep, as did many others. Doesn't prove anything though, other than the timing for each one has many many variables.

Dam so I guess I won’t return the 5 gallon bucket of kyjelly

They are running low on hopium, just let them have this one. In 16 days, hopefully most of them will give up.

Well, hopefully the situation changes in 16 days. But yes, if it doesn't, then agree all hopium is lost.

Just like that. Without the right to elect our leaders, we no longer have a Republic. Why can't people figure out what this means? Your claiming something like this, "If the criminals in charge don't agree to give up their power, then we'll just say oh well...sigh."

Every example you provided is both earlier than today's date and before taking the oath of office. Why would one bother going through the ceremony of being sworn in only to abdicate in 2 weeks if they were certain of their win?

You make two reasonable points:

  1. This was a copy-paste of a post I had made a few weeks ago (and re-used a couple times) when this topic started becoming a thing. Time has advanced since then. Although in my examples, Biden didn't resign until Jan 15.

  2. I don't know whether any of them took an oath of office, but I agree it is not something that makes sense.

At this point, the other arguments about certification probably apply. I think we'll find out either way pretty soon.
