Industry growth isn't really based on having "an extra factory laying around".
Edit: Hard to be motivated when you can just charge twice as much.
Patriot, but they never experienced sales like they have the last couple of years either. then add the Scamdemic shutting down the companies also.
Agreed. Glad I stocked up when I did. It's still painful to buy ammo for the range though. Cheaper Than Dirt got nailed for gouging essential items here in Texas. Serves them right. They were raising prices of thingd that were in shopping carts. I get suupply and demand, but much like cars, the prices don't add up.
Patriot, glad they did, I caught on to that and dropped them over a year ago as a go to place.
IDK, Barry was a helluva ammo and firearms salesman. There have been various shortages since 2008.
Patriot, that is the only thing democrats are good at, making gun sales go up.
Are manufacturers raising the prices or is it just gun stores? The store I usually go to hasn't changed their ammo prices but he only has uncommon calibers in stock. I was in another store and they had .308 tula for .50 which isn't bad for buying in store I don't think.
I think everyone has had to as it would seem that even the brass, bullets and primers are all hard to come by. If that weren't the case, I would likely get into the business myself. I would hope that at some point in the future, assuming Biden doesn't get in, the market will saturate, and I can get back to enjoying shooting.it's hard to work on your skills at a minimum of five bucks a magazine for just the hand guns.
