He is not yet retired and I haven't seen his bank statements--and that isn't my point. But if you don't think he is taking risks and putting his neck on the line, then you aren't seeing it clearly. I don't really know enough about the guy to defend him but as the ominous threats from the left mount about how Trump supporters should be handled, as well as POTUS, yes, and his family and his team once POtUS is out of office, anyone coming to his defense is also a target. The guy is clearly a fighter--he spent close to two decades defending Richard Jewell and ultimately clearing him against yet another cocked up FBI investigation. So yeah, I'll tell you he is taking a risk and logic says, he could be risking everything.

Perhaps not now, but you originally did say Lin was risking ”everything”, and that leaves little room for revisionary interpretation. I dismiss any claim you make to redefining the word.
He did an interview with Thrivetime and that is where he had said that he had wanted to retire last year but that he had actually ended up working more this year. How can he defend Sandman and others and be retired, anyway? I still maintain he is risking everything--and again you still don't get it. Not only does he risk being disbarred--which is not something any lawyer wants, even if he plans on retiring--but again--do you not realize that Dems and their allies will be coming after POTUS, his supporters and everyone they can to make their message heard? Have you not seen these threats? Do you think the Left is not vindictive? Ergo, he is risking everything.
