Maybe. It is a leftist area. But if they allowed reservations at first then cancelled them, it wouldn't surprise me if they were threatened. They also could have been concerned about some liability if someone got hurt on their property?
Patriot, they knew in advance about the Trump Rally, so they should have not accepted the reservations to begin with, who better then they to know if they are in a left zone. they live there. But also hearing chatter the DC Mayor may try to block the roads ? we will see if that will happen.

I remember the poverty when I visited some places in southeast asia in the late 90s. There were nice hotels but the locals could not afford them. Maybe that's where we're headed. As a result, the multi-national hotels may not be concerned about losing our business in the future? Sad ...
