Bring shovels, tent and some portable toilet seats, set up your own latrines in the parks. Wouldn't take more than a couple of hours if you enlisted some help. Everyone brings their own toilet paper and wa la, done deal. Let the city deal with the clean up.

I was planning on going but I was going in my truck with camper and lots of supplies. I have way to much work this week to go but there is no way I would have relied on a hotel or motel. That being said these trumpsters aka patriots need to be ready to help each other out

Maybe. It is a leftist area. But if they allowed reservations at first then cancelled them, it wouldn't surprise me if they were threatened. They also could have been concerned about some liability if someone got hurt on their property?
Patriot, they knew in advance about the Trump Rally, so they should have not accepted the reservations to begin with, who better then they to know if they are in a left zone. they live there. But also hearing chatter the DC Mayor may try to block the roads ? we will see if that will happen.
