At my work they argued that because clients potentially includes hospitals that we were essential workers.

We are on Christmas break and they hand out a memo about what would require an additional time for quarantine. So, I tell my wife how to extend the break for 2 weeks.

So, I look deeper, 2 weeks then need a negative covid test approval from the company nurse, go on short term disability, AND to top it off, the time missed is expected to be made up in lieu.

Not even worth the 2 weeks off. Even though there are times I would love to be told I was going on EI for some months, glad that I'm not having to look for work.
