Patriot , that is pretty telling, because if Roberts does file for defamation, there will be the discovery phase. And Civil trials have been known to allow more evidence in them a criminal trial, and in that discovery can possibly come Criminal charges, and if Lin Wood is proven correct, he can counter with a lawsuit. Roberts can file it, but he better be right when he does, and I suspect he is quite aware of the boomerang effect it can and will have.
