Yeah thanks for the effortpost but all that astrology mumbo jumbo seems mostly fake and gay. I mean most of the alignments in the stars that are always predicted to end the world or some shit never do anything. But I guess these people do believe it, so that makes it real to an extent.
I don't think it is mumbo jumbo but even if it is, you hit the nail on the head, when enough people believe something is true it tends to manifest in reality at least on some level.
Yeah, all that crap about alignments and such is a valid point. My favorite diversion was the one about crossing the galactic plane.
The part that isn’t crap is how very important astrological events are for time-keeping on a “cosmic” scale. As such, it attracts celebration. And as best I can tell, this event was the official start of the age of aquarius. Or so the believers believe.
Or as some meme put it, next year, the new normal, is literally 2020 won.
