So Pence can be a hero, to either the USA, or the Kabal. All indications are, that almost none of the Presidents party are publicly behind him. Even though our President is wildly popular with the people. Maybe Don is letting Pence hang himself, maybe there is a Master plan. If Pence is an evil "Race Bannon", there will be nowhere to hide from the wrath of the people, if he is a dark horse savior, he will go down in History, and our Hearts, as the true "Man of God" he claims to be.

The Constitution is full of checks and balances. The VP acceptance and reading of the electors is a check and balance - and not destroying the Constitution.

The constitution doesn't give Pence the authority to approve the electoral slate. It just has him act as a secretary and recite what the votes say. It's like having Linda from HR read out who won the office ugly sweater contest. She doesn't actually get to throw out the votes and decides who wins.

There is historic precedence for this interpretation. Whether or not Pence has the balls remains to be seen. Side note - probably not.
