The alleged DEW trail is a projectile trail coming from the RV, and the plume of smoke that comes afterwards follows the same trajectory because whatever blew off the RV to cause the trail also opened up the pressure inside the RV to let the accumulating smoke out, which followed the same trajectory due to the build up of pressure.
