I concur, lots more aircraft operating along the East coast. Also many heavy's tracking straight Eastbound direct to the Portugal area instead of the Northern routing?

Where do I select military flights only?

At the top of the aircraft screen there are three boxes that are labled U. H. T. Select the U box that is Military only.

Is it rare to have a C-40c up?

I can't answer that. It's a pastime for me to watch real time air traffic and what I've noticed is increased electronic warfare type aircraft activity, but I'd just be guessing if I were to say why.
