That's not the right way to live.

You should read The Controversy of Zion (archive.org) by Douglas Reed. In the early chapters he gives some interesting detail of the early history of the Jews and how the Levite priests in Babylon wrote the Books of Moses to control the Jewish people through their beliefs.

I forgot to share this with you earlier today. I agree God does not want us to kill in his name. because that is clear in the 10 commandments. But I suspect self defense is looked at differently, when we look at David and Goliath. This is why I mentioned that this to me was manipulated in the past to serve some persons agenda, has always been a human problem, power , control and manipulation. with greater power, it is supposed to come with greater responsibility, and we as humans have always had problems with that.
