No, you are right. Secret societies like the Freemasons make light of the secrecy, pretending that it's all just there to make the society more interesting to its members and give it a sense of mystique. But it's completely unnecessary if they aren't using it to hide things, which they are.
Exactly Patriot, and I have found this same thing with the Knights Templars , and just like Free masons, the higher you go the more you really know, but only the top guy knows the whole deal. Even the second highest does not have it all. And the question we also never see asked is, why did they hide the Holy Grail and Ark of Covenant from the Church ? There is more going on then they want us to know about. I realize since they have no power they feel they can gain power by these items, but the power came from God to what we can call symbols. And God is sure not going to send his power to help them ? and if they had power, they would not be going crazy trying to find the both.
I've researched a lot of things over the years, including the power of the mind, which is barely understood by most people. We have an innate ability to tap into higher powers through certain mental processes, and research into hypnosis and other related fields has revealed this in many ways. There are certain qualities that are necessary to be able to do this, and rapport with the source is one of them. Rapport with God, in this case. Rapport can be thought of as energy frequencies that are compatible. Things like psychometry (picking up information from objects and environments) is a phenomenon that people can develop, and it requires rapport. Objects pick up energies from those who possess them over a long period of time. Others who are sensitive to these energies can later pick up on them and acquire information. Think about that in terms of an object (or environment) that possesses the energies of someone who radiated a strong connection with God. That object would not have the same power it gives people who have a strong rapport with God to someone who does not.

Now we are on a topic about God I love to really speak of, have done so with others, to the level I sensed they were at, the reason is is not to interfere with free will. To understand this people need to understand the rules of spirituality. Yes it is about energies and connections , negative energies destroy all around them and in the end will destroy themselves, we as Lakota call this the path of death. positive energies promote growth and well being, we call this the path of life, we must choose which path we take, many people refer to it as good and evil. It is just a difference in language. but we are speaking about the same thing, as many call it a soul we call it a Spirit.
Here is something i would like to share with you. As man laws changes with his understanding of man. only the laws of the spirit remains always the same. meaning god gave us a level playing field since the beginning of time until the end of time , so to speak.
As Lakota we say, we came from the reality, and now live in the illusion, and when we die we return to always what was the reality. meaning our Spirit was created by God and knows all about God, we are here to choose with free will to have a relationship with God or not to. This is why we know what is right and wrong, as our Soul knew from God pure love, goodness and truth, this is the diet it requires to stay well. Our word for Religion is Good Medicine, it is good for the mind body and the Spirit. which should always be one with God. Notice the ones that walk away and how they get crazier the further they walk away from God. This is the alarm our soul sets off to let us know it is the right or wrong way to go.
Our energies drop all around us and will affect things around us also, if we drop good energies as we go abut our day, some people will pick up on it, just as they can pock up if we dropped negative energies. Have you ever been really happy, came to a spot and for no reason you felt down and no explanation to feel that way, it is because you may have crossed and picked up someone's bad energy. here is a link that shows how long it has taken science to figure out this is correct. a interesting read would be Fools Crow by Thomas E Mails. he wrote this book in the 70s and I laugh because Emails were unknown back then, While I benefitted from much from Frank Fools Crow, back then I had heard he would not do a book and later found out he did, I bought it later after he passed away, so that my Children could read and benefit from what he shares.
A few years back my Cousin told me on youtube there was three teachings of the Medicine Wheel posted, and that saved me a lot of typing. here they are and they if i remember right are about 10 minutes each, listen and decide, since you are advanced way more then most, you will have a better and clearer understanding.
