Patriot, the Torah led to the Bible which led to the Koran , it may be true, we have Babylon and two cities God destroyed as a reference.
It also comes down to free will. and when it all goes bad with free will choices, God appears to always be blamed for it. So many people have been involved with the Bible, interpretations to what was accepted and not accepted, unless we get the first one, we may never know what is really in it. the Bible is a story that tells us what happened and what will happen and a guide on the right way to live. and we must live it accordingly.
The Bible tells you that it's alright to kill in the name of God.
That's not the right way to live.
I agree Patriot, I suspect that part was manipulated.
You should read The Controversy of Zion (archive.org) by Douglas Reed. In the early chapters he gives some interesting detail of the early history of the Jews and how the Levite priests in Babylon wrote the Books of Moses to control the Jewish people through their beliefs.
