Only Congress can object to votes. Pence does not have that power. Read 3 USC ch. 1 sec 15. Don't take my word for it . Plus Congress can only object if more votes arrive than state is entitled to that is also in the law. Pence is really just the letter opener.

Will do. Thanks for source. I'm still sorting out this process in my mind. There seems to be some good momentum in the House now..so we shall see.
