We will know January 6th some time shortly after 1pm eastern. Since they count the ballots alphabetically, the first indication will be with Arizona. If Arizona's electors are rejected, that will be the moment that indicates the election.

Only Congress can object to votes. Pence does not have that power. Read 3 USC ch. 1 sec 15. Don't take my word for it . Plus Congress can only object if more votes arrive than state is entitled to that is also in the law. Pence is really just the letter opener.
