That is a close comparison. People were evacuated by police/fire prior to the implosion. The nuance here is that the bombers themselves appear to be responsible for warning people to get far away in Nashville, the van with loudspeaker plus police responded to 2 911 calls of gunshots, helped to evacuate.

That was the first thing I thought of yesterday when the story broke.
What makes Nashville unique was the blaring speaker warning people to get the hell away long before the bomb went off. Very strange. The Oklahoma bomber didn't do that.

Appears it was not set up to harm people but to remove facility operations whatever they were. Was it a clown shop operation removed or were the clowns removing the public broadcast system so the president cannot use it based on the AT&T building location?
The communications center covered Georgia too, so my current thought is that the DS may have blown it up to prevent eyes on communications leading up to and including the January 5th GA vote. I'm still just catching up on the past 2 days, but that is what my Spidey senses are telling me at the moment. I think the DS thinks this blows up the white hat ability to monitor the black hats. Or, I'm totally wrong and this screws up the black hats in some way. Read one rumor that voting machines were stored there but that seems far fetched for the moment.
