It was so obvious that machines were a recipe for disaster when the push for them started after the 2000 "hanging chads" election. A few of us back then got Vermont to go paper only. Checking this year I was dismayed to learn that some counties were using Dominion.

Oh well, my one solid contribution to a people's democracy is no more. Hopefully this war will have a more lasting outcome.
