One of the good things about Covid-1984 is raising the awareness of how worthless so many degrees are when it comes to really equipping one to function better in the real world, whether that be in critical thinking skills, or preparation for a career. Employers are guilty of making a college degree the entry criteria for any kind of consideration (mainly to make it easy for HR), even if there is no correlation between what is taught and what is needed on the job.
