Wild pigs are different,very lean and bacon free. Hams and loins mostly. The yotes and buzzards get the rest

My brother-in-law RIP was taught by a Cajun friend how to cook these. They dig a pit and fill it up with smoked wood and fire it up. Then when it's down to coals, they suspend a pole or log with the hog tied to it across the pit. Not touching the coals. Then cover it up with pine boughs, etc. They let it smoke all night and into the next day until it's ready.

Not really It's unprocessed,uncured etc. Taste nothing like store bought domestic. The boars are musky and quite gamey,generally made into sausage if young around 80lb. I dont keep them,I sell them and buy more ammo😏

That also IS NOT a Mil-Spec optic. Any common Joe can buy NV/Thermal optics without much effort. The scope in the vid was night vision and not thermal. I have both on one platform but prefer the night vision most often

Missouri halted any hunting of feral hogs because it makes them to wary. The Department of Natural Resources want to catch groups or poison them all at once to more effectively cut down on the breading population.

These are ideas that might work for deep staters....
