Complaint file in Federal Court 12/22/20 (democracydocket.com)

If I read the Document correctly VP Pence is listed as a Defendant not a Plaintive. Are there any Legal Professionals here that can take a look at this? I hope I am wrong, I have no experiance with Federal Court filings.

The purpose of the filing is to receive an injunction from the court to stop the electoral count process, of which Pence is a part of. He is a defendant by procedure.

so this is hypothetical since the certification hasnt happened. Are they just getting ready in case Pence certifies the fraudulent votes?

An injunction would prevent them from accepting the electors.
