I'm a Voat refugee too. Trying out a few other places as well as Poal ,Gab.com and thedonald.win. Will see how it goes. Crenshaw recommended https://disc ord.gg/DSDS7D96gH (fix the link then pop into your browser) as a base so thinking of that too; but haven't tried it yet.
