Wictor keeps harping on "they did not need to seize the servers in Germany". They very well could have and may have needed to. You can have all the download thru the network wizardry you can imagine, and "nano drones" and all -- but it will never match the download speed of a couple of movers and a dolly scooping up multiple servers physically and rolling them out of the building. Remember Seth Rich and the fact that the download speed meant that it was via a physical on site connection. Plus leaving the servers in the hands of the black hats seems like a very bad idea.
