I already have it on "daylight", which works fine for me on all other sites, but it's still dark gray here, and it's hard for my old eyes to focus on.

Been here around a year, only get on when Voat is down, but never stay, as it's headache-causing. And I'm not sure I can do the captchas, I tend to fail them.

Have you tried the black background with white print? I am older with pretty bad vision and I find that works pretty good. I use my phone and generally keep my lighting at 25% or less because too much of this bright light is annoying. I have heard others say they like the black background. Just a thought.
