Let's get this done, and at least we did something to protect our kids. Please up vote and let's kill Zoom for good as it is just another spying app by the Chinese.

I found it very odd that Zoom suddenly popped up everywhere especially in our schools in recent years. Then the pieces all matched up, Trump in office, pandemic, then forced to go online learning, online meetings and conferences, all using Zoom. Can you see it?

Notice, the founder is obviously Chinese and the Justice Dept last week charged an executive from Zoom for working with the CCP for shutting down dialogue negative about China in the Zoom platform. Currently, the executive is on the run, so what does that tell you?

I don't know about your school for your kids but I have noticed they have switched to Zoom instead of Google Meet suddenly.

And this is where you take action, email, call, whatever your school and ask them did they know that Zoom is spyware for China. Then, point them to this:

Talk to your kid's friends families and point out to them that Zoom is up to no good.

If they have recorded your kids picking their nose, they they WILL USE it against your kids to shame them into something in the future. Get the school to take action. If they don't because they are woke, discuss on the best possible actions.

Zoom had a lot of momentum in the corp world before the COVID Hoax. Blue Jeans went back to being a bit player a couple of years ago it seems. WebEx and GoToMeeting are fucking terrible. And Google has been so wrapped around the axles over their pronouns for the last few years that all of the their stuff now sucks including Hangouts/Meets/whatever it will be forked into in '21. Zoom was probably the only viable solution for ad hoc mass adoption of remote learning at the time.

But, yes, it is entirely too entangled with the ChiComs. Like you, I'm looking at not only Open Source alternatives but ones that work decentralized/P2P. If we don't fall to Team World Tyranny in the next 12-24 months there's going to be an earth-shattering transition to decentralized tech driven by all of this. And that might be the stake in heart of the globalist fucks. Fingers crossed.
