Isn't the bill veto-proof? How does this work, when such a large majority voted for it in both houses?

I am hoping that both houses have to revote now, not just the Congress, because now the Senators have had time to read it and to hear the complaints from the people they serve. They will probably change their vote. But, I do not know the process needed to override a veto.

I think each representative member should hire hundreds of trusted employees to study a 25 page portion of enormous bills, then have them report the details of their portion of the bill back to the representative, so nothing gets snuck by the attention of the member. I don't care if they have to hire 200 auditors each. Their salaries are large enough to cover the cost, and they can write it off. No one should vote on a bill without knowing what it contains.

Geat points Patriot, and think about this also, Congress will be recess for Christmas. First time the 24th was marked as a Federal Holiday also, what can happen when Congress is in recess , think possible moves and counter moves.

President Trump knows this is a shitty bill. $600 is a slap in the face to all Americans. $600 is Pelosi's daily liquor bill, but she says its sufficient for us.

Before Congress has a chance to re-vote, I wish Trump could write an executive order today to repeat the last $1200 stimulus to adults and $600 to children. He can do that since it had already been passed as law once before, right?

Then when the re-vote occurs, many representatives will reject the enormous catastrophic bill.

Fuck all that dumb noise. If they really want to help Americans, how about the fed implements an immediate, indefinite deferment of payment schedules for ALL federally backed loans until which time they are ready to forget about the holocough and move on with life.

Payments is a form of political appeasement and a bullshit move.

Obviously the seriousness of the situation is not being noted by you, because the people are about to lose this Nation and their Freedom, what price tag are you placing on the nation ad your freedom ? but your choice to make, because see if China gives a crap how you feel or what you Think, they only have one solution for non compliers.
