Wrong response. Cities defunding police are cutting off a city funding source through tickets etc.. Simply increase the number of Sheriff deputies in the county who do not enforce city ordinances, but county orders and still have jurisdiction to operate in the city due to the city being in the county. The cities will refund police once they see the revenue loss and a few social worker de-escalators are taken hostage or worse.
