Ivermectin: "Wonder Drug" With Strong Antiviral Properties - Resources/Studies/Where to Buy
I have been away from this site for a while doing other things with my time (family, personal development, etc.). Sorry for anyone who misses the dailystoic threads. I may pick them back up again soon, but life has been busy.
I wanted to pop in and share some information with you guys that could potentially save lives. I am studying medicine and I wanted to give some links on studies of Ivermectin. The best part of this drug: It can be purchased online with no prescription for about $1 per dose (though it is "for animal use only").
Ivermectin is a drug derived from the fermentation of Streptomyces avermitilis which was discovered (and only ever found) in Japan in the late 70s. This drug causes a release of GABA (a neuro inhibitor) in organisms if it can enter their nervous system. It CANNOT enter the nervous system of mammals (can't cross the blood brain barrier, BBB).
Ivermectin has been shown to have antiviral AND antitumor properties. Studies listed below. The mechanisms for antiviral and antitumor properties are not fully understood and there are lots of studies that propose various reasons. That is not important to me at the present, what is important is this testimony of Pierre Kory, MD. He testified to the Homeland Security Committee on 08 Dec 2020. This news should have been widely broadcast, but the drug companies don't want you to know. Why? The patent expired sometime around 1997. There is no money to be made here.

Below I have listed a few studies that I have read (both positive and negative relating to COVID). The negative ones tend to say "let's go to clinical trials", the positive ones say "looks promising, need clinicals". So, we clearly need clinical trials.
Where to Buy?
Just search "Ivermectin Paste" on amazon. Tons of stuff available.
I don't like supporting amazon, but it is the easiest and quickest way to get it other than running to a pet store that happens to carry it. You can also read quite a few reviews that come from people with scabies or rosacea. It works well against those conditions too.

You guys should always remember: DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. Don't let me persuade you. Go read the studies and make up your own mind. If anybody wants to offer counter studies or clarify anything I have posted, feel free. No pride here, I make mistakes too.
And for the FBI: I would never tell anyone to take any medication, I would say do the research and decide for yourself. I have no financial interest in anything with this drug, I just find the information interesting.
And one for the road:
Remember how long you've been putting this off, how many extensions the gods gave you, and you didn't use them. At some point you have to recognize what world it is that you belong to; what power rules it and from what source you spring; that there is a limit to the time assigned you, and if you don't use it to free yourself it will be gone and will never return.
-Emperor Marcus Aurelius, Meditations 2.4
What is the dosing schedule for humans? Is it directly scaled according to mass?
Yes. The standard dosage of 1.87% ivermectin is 0.2mg/kg.
In the pdf that is on the senate website from Dr. Kory:
lvermectin Prophylaxis for high-risk individuals: 0.2 mg/kg* dose on day 1 and day 3, then one dose/month
The horse paste has the exact same dosage on the packaging. 1 syringe has enough to treat a 1250 lb. horse, and it is 200mcg/kg or 91mcg/lb. The syringe has weight markers on it to help measure the dosage properly.
It is used in both animals and humans worldwide. Extensively in Africa as they have tons of parasites due to poor sanitation. I should have lead with this: It is considered an antiparasitic drug. It also happens to be really good at fighting off cancer and viruses for some reason. This is a drug repurposing exploration.
It requires a prescription to get the tablets for human consumption in the US. The horse paste has been used by numerous people for scabies, and they suffered no ill effects. For animals it DOES NOT require a prescription. It is the same stuff, though they may cut the horse paste with some other ingredients that aren't normal in human drugs (it is 1.9% ivermectin). It comes in apple flavoring if you buy the Durvet brand...because horses love apples.
I personally have no issues with taking the horse paste if necessary, but to each their own.

I've used ivermectin in cream form when I was working in a moldy place and it was causing skin issues. Good stuff.
