When did you mail it? CA has had mail in ballots for a long time so they don't usually have issues, although they always take several weeks to count so it's possible they just haven't gotten to her envelope yet.

I entered all her info and no record was found. That was just the missus and the mother-in-law's ballots' I voted in person like an American. If I knew Ma-in-law's info and punched it it I bet they counter her ballot, because she's old and senile and votes for old senile candidates.
it's far more likely a typo or different number (could be social sec or state id too, at least in my state) leading to the tracking being lost than usps stealing or losing the ballot
although that does happen too
there's should be a SoS number to call and inquire about missing ballots
We voted for Trump, so our votes don't count in this communist state anyway.
