Pond = Atlantic Ocean
Planefags = People with great Autistic Skills (think "Rainman") who in this case, like to monitor the 24 hour radar screens of all Flight Activity. "Autists" are people who got too many toxic vaccines at too early of an age, leaving them with some mental impairments in some areas, but also some phenomenal mental abilities in other areas. They are very detailed oriented, and pick up on things that most of us miss. They are quite the blessing to us all.
P.S. Kennedy faked a medical situation to go to negotiate during the Cuban Missle Crisis.

Yes. If it is a clandestine mission it may not use AF1 anyway. Bush did that when he went to visit the troops at Thanksgiving in Baghdad. Used the codes for a Gulfstream jet. A Brit pilot saw the VC25 with tail number 28000 and got VERY confused. Almost blew the mission. :)

POTUS shuts down the gov cuz he didn't sign the spending bill.
Pence can't sign it cuz he's just temp-POTUS.
Gov stays shut down so arrests can be made- Congress CAN be arrested on BREAK.
(People never get this quite right. Any Congress/Senate Critter can be arrested at any time, even if they are on the Floor speaking, IF the crime is more serious than a parking ticket (i.e., Criminal Offense, Federal Crime, Treason, Sedition...). The only reason Congress tries to stay "running" and not recessed, is so Trump can not make "recess appointments" of Judges, etc.
Anyway, It would appear that he did sign the bill extending funding thru December.
