Iran had to "save face" by firing off missiles. But Trump knew where they would be firing their missiles and they were able to evacuate Americans and allies before the missiles hit. (Either that, or there were some casualties, but Trump is keeping a lid on that, in order to keep de-escalation going......we may never know, because that would be "classified".) Trump seemed to almost be in tears at the beginning of his speech when he said no one was hurt. It could be just gratitude to God for no casualties, or their were casualties but he can not say it. Anyway, Trump had difficulty speaking at that point.
By Trump not retaliating to Iran, the "war" is over. That is the ONLY way it could work with muslims, cuz like the Jews they very definitely believe in an eye for an eye (revenge). These cycles of revenge can be never ending, unless one party "turns the other cheek", which is what Trump has appeared to do.
Think about it? What would we gain by going to war with Iran? We don't use their oil and we don't need their oil. So what's the justification for spending all the military money and lives on a war with Iran.
Hee, hee.....Israel must be depressed today! No doubt they wanted the U.S. to nuke Iran back to the dark ages and fulfill that bible prophecy. But Trump said no.
Israel is the wild card. The minute Trump starts trying to bring U.S. soldiers home again, Israel will no doubt pull some false flags and blame it on Iran.....and that "could" start this whole sequence of events all over again.
But Netanyahu has been forced to resign (I suspect by Trump Team, due to the timing) so Israel is the one going through a regime change. (Israel "cleaning house" the same time the U.S. is??? Too much of a coincidence.)
In fact now that I think of it, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that a deal was cut with Netanyahu, Netanyahu resigns in exchange for the U.S. (or Israel being allowed) to kill General Soleimani. His assassination happened either the same day or one day away from Netanyahu being forced to resign. There may be a connection there.
