I have reported this to the Trump Campaign.

My Credit Card was Frozen for "Fraud" for Donating to President Trump's Re-election

I tried to not be too pissed when I called them back to reactivate my card. The extremely skeptical side of me thinks they want a recording of me saying that I donated to POTUS's re-election campaign. They asked me "if I was pressured to give money". Hell no I wasn't pressured, and wanting POTUS re-elected isn't fraud! I said "I sure hope this freeze wasn't placed due to political bias."

There are two things I'm trying to figure out:

Is there a certain donation amount to re-election campaigns that normally triggers a freeze, or is this outright political bias?
I donated through WinRed, which President Trump endorsed in a tweet from June 24th. Since POTUS backed WinRed, it must be legitimate...right? https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1143159975277187072?lang=en

If there normally aren't credit card "fraud freezes" due to donations to re-election campaigns and if WinRed is legitamate, I'm pissed. So this is how they're going to play the game: if you donate to causes we don't like, we'll freeze your card for "fraud".

These people are SICK.

It's a Mastercard through a banking institution. I need to find someone else to spend my money through. And probably a whole new bank for that matter.

Mastercard is anti-American due to their freezing of pro-2nd Amendment accounts this last year.

I would ask your bank to identify WHICH fraud center flagged your card, theirs or Mastercard's.

It may not be your banking institution, but you should still look for a credit union.

Just to decrease the jewery in your life.

First sit down and write up exactly what happened, with dates and times as best as you can remember. Then get a lawyer or local police authority on your side because if a random civilian calls up the feds without support they'll think you're nuts and you'll go nowhere.

Contact the FTC, CIA, military intelligence, DHS, etc and tell them that Mastercard has been infiltrated by a British spy ring that is following general orders to disrupt American organizations and suppress any support for American values such as freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and any disagreement with their propaganda. Shutting down pro-Trump donations is exactly the sort of thing they would do. They work for other foreign powers on the side and were caught doing PR for Saudi Arabia, ISIS, and known al-Qaeda front organizations.
