I wouldn’t use direct imgur links though (you know how biased these fat fucks are and will silently take down your links).

Proxy your image links with https://pic8.co, you can be sure they will never expire.

I'm being mentored in how to do things in this sub by our fantastic BO,who has patiently gotten me up to speed with using this platform, so far. (In the past, I only lurked on Reddit and VOAT.)

I am an interested and eager learner in doing what you suggest. Can you please explain what you mean in both sentences? I have never done either, but I want to understand and be able to do what you suggest.

If you want to make sure image links in your articles won't expire or get removed by censorship friendly hosts, you can use pic8.co links for images in your articles.

Upload your images there and use the short links for your articles.
