... just a humble input about the magnitude of what happened then: I was 6 yrs old and remember the disbelief and shock in everybody... detail: I was living in Southern Brazil, almost frontier to Argentina, with no connection or whatever to the US back then. It shook the World!

When this happened, I was a student, and the school turned on the news on the PA system, which was piped through to each classroom. Many students and teachers were shocked. We were all sent home early to deal with our grief. What happened is indelibly etched in our brains, so that we can try to ensure that this never happens again.
