~$500 For a bungalow kit. This one has the Mrs. Sunshine "Cute as a button" seal of design approval.
Seems like that is roughly what a laborer made a year back then. 500-750 and they didn’t get raped by taxes. Now a house is probably several times what most make a year.
I have some property that I am actually considering putting "tiny houses" on. Kind of leaning towards doing something more along the lines of industrial/mining/railroad look though, because it is zoned light commercial, so a live/work setup should work out well.
That would be cool. I’m surprised no one is doing something like that. I’ve always thought there could be something similar for housing to a storage unit setup. At least ultra cheap rent for college kids, etc.
